North America is comprised of more than 500 nations, communities, & indigenous groups who have called this continent their home for thousands of years. They strive to care for the land & live in harmony with it, as a core tenant of the various belief systems found across the continent. We honor these peoples for their care and stewardship, and also recognize the very difficult history of occupation & colonization that has often torn these communities apart. The members of USITT urge you to find out more about the land you now call home, and to care for it with equal vigor.
